Welcome to the Equalizers, Recreation Integration Victoria's (RIV) Goodlife Fitness Victoria Marathon team. Join our team and know that when you cross that finish line on October 9th you've assisted us in creating equity in our community.
We are an approved charity participating in the Goodlife Fitness Victoria Marathon's Times Colonist Charity Pledge Program. Through your efforts the Equalizers will surpass RIV's goal to raise $15,000 to support our inclusion of children and youth with disabililities in community-based leisure and recreation services; and our volunteer service.
You are enabling RIV to provide children and youth with disabilities with the full range of opportunities and benefits available to their peers, let's cross that finish line together.
Talk to your friends, family, and associates about joining the Equalizers or pledging their support to Recreation Integration Victoria. You will make a difference by improving the quality of life of people with disabilities.
Each Equalizers team member will receive a 100% cotton T-shirt with the Equalizer's, RIV's, and sponsors' logos identifying you as a member of our team. For Equalizers raising $500 or more a similarly adorned technical shirt will be provided.
When you register for the Marathon choose the race that matches your fitness level and register to run, wheel, or walk. There are Marathon, Half Marathon, 8km Road Race, and Kids Run and Marathon courses.
